Pahada- a chemical & preservatives free rose water
Naturally beautiful...
Rose water has been an essential part of Indian beauty regime for centuries.
Before l begin, let me tell you how a 100% pure rose water should be like and what you should be looking when you purchase a rose water.
• Always buy a chemical and preservatives free rose water.
• Rose water should be steam distilled.
• A steam distilled, chemical & preservatives free rose water can easily last for six months to one year.
• Rose water should have a mild fragrance and not strong smell. Mild fragrance indicates no artificial fragrance is added to it.
Benefits of rose water:
Rose water has anti inflammatory & antibacterial properties.
It balances skin's PH.
Effective against dark spots, acnes.
Even tones skin and is a good moisturising agent.
Coming to Pahada rose water :
It comes in a plastic spray bottle. As mentioned on it's label, it is made from damask Roses (it's a variety of rose) cultivated at the height of 7000ft. at Joshimath, Uttrakhand.

4. Have a very faint, mild smell which indicates no artificial fragrance is added.
5. I purchased 100ml bottle. It also comes in 200ml, 800ml bottles too but my advice would be to buy 100ml bottle. 100ml is fine for daily use since it is preservatives free.
I was looking for an effective, chemical free rose water for few years and my search ended with Pahada rose water. I am using it for past two and a half years.
As for its effectiveness:
Well, I have extremely oily skin specially during the summers. Oily skin means lots of acnes too. I had lots of acne. It reduced redness and acnes. Regular use either in face packs or direct application with cotton ball makes a difference in the way skin looks. Acnes have gone.
The only way I could describe is - value for money.
If you are looking for an effective, steam distilled rose water devoid of chemicals and preservatives then Pahada rose water is the one.
How will I rate?
Well, definitely 5/5
You can buy it online.
This is not a paid review. I'm a natural product freek...believe in using less chemical & more natural ingredients for skincare. Just sharing my experience for those who believe in using chemical free rose water!
