How to deal with anxiety

How to Deal with ANXIETY?

Anxiety

How to deal with anxiety? Anxiety is a state of mind. I have been through it for years but subsequently learnt to deal with it. Here, I'll tell you how to deal with anxiety if you have suffered a failure or a disease that cripples
you or could not achieve what you wanted to be in your life. Anxiety occurs when we do not reconciliate with the reality. It c could be a result of failure in an interview or unable to a achieve your target. Sometimes things go out of control, anxiety due to things which we can't control.

First step is to start accepting

The first thing is the acceptance of a problem this will lead you to the cause of anxiety. It is hard to accept a failure, an unrealized dream (this happened in my case) or unachieved goal or ambition, a failure in an interview or a relationship. Start accepting it.  I know it is hard to accept but somehow you need to start. Start with the acceptance, it takes time but if you have failed in an interview or competitive exam
then you don't have time to regret
it, you have to start preparing for another or you'll  lose your fighting spirit and forget whatever you have learnt.
For whatever be the reason, if  anxiety is engulfing you - just relax think about the cause or reason behind your anxiety. If it's under your control than fine - START ACCEPTING IT THEN WORK ON IT.

If you can control it then think about the solution what could be done, just work on how to control it and be happy to move ahead. If it's not under your control than you need inspiration from someone for example I have a painful disease
& I have to live with so, it's not under my control. It took time for me to accept it and by the time I started accepting it, it was quite late due to anxiety, the disease had aggravate. Inspiration was much required at that time- someone who can motivate me. For motivation I started listening to my ideal. Things changed for me from there. I was relaxed & at ease and happily battling disease.

Why accept it gracefully & work on it

In my case the disease started aggravating due to anxiety. Autoimmune disease aggravates due to anxiety, tension. I said in the beginning of the article that anxiety engulfs you- not only mind but body too. My situation became worse the pain, swelling aggravated, doctor always said if you'll think too much or be sad all the time, you'll have tension and it's an autoimmune disease so, it will aggravate.
Handling anxiety is not an art, you should learn to control your mind. Your mind should come to terms with the real situation which affected you hard.
If you are a student appearing in an entrance exam or facing interview or ssb and you have been disqualified in first attempt, just don't get disheartened because there's still time to reappear again just keep the focus, be focused the way Arjun in Mahabharata was focused on his target- the birds eye, he saw nothing else. BE LIKE THAT. Don't let failure, anxiety take over your mind...they say, take the bull by horn. Just take the bull of anxiety by it's horns.

What should you do?

Look at the people around you or social media who are in much difficult situation than what you are. For instance I could not join army because of Rheumatoid arthritis. It was my childhood dream. So what I did- started watching videos of some NDA cadets who have been disabled during training in the Academy. Paralised due to falling of from a horse. There dreams were shattered, they were sent back home. Imagine they cleared ssb, went to Academy, everything in their life was the way they wanted untill disabled during training. Life became a challenge but when you see them they have the never dying spirit in them and this motivates that atleast I'm in better situation.  This gave me positivity that there are people who are in much worse situation then me but still smiling.  Therefore,  you should start looking at other people their stories their struggle how they fought it.

Read...Read...& Read

Reading helps you, a book is always a best friend. My advice is don't read fiction, read only non fiction because non fictional books are based on real stories and real always inspires. Read what inspires you. I love reading stories of real soldiers, their military operations they inspire me. A soldier for me is the best inspiration. No one can inspire you better, like a soldier because he faces the odd and at much difficult times and situations. Sometimes he looses his hands, legs, paralyzed in operation but the soldier in him doesn't die, he's is highly spirited even after being amputated. This spirit of a soldier inspires me. To relieve my anxiety, I always read books on real stories of real soldiers. You can read what you like reading or what inspires you but read the real, I mean non fiction.

Be positive

Watch inspiring stories on media and always follow inspiring & positive people on socia media.  Positive people give you positive vibes and positivity is necessary to overcome any anxiety. Positivity comes in when you talk, watch, listen , follow positive people.  For instance if you are on social media like Instagram then follow positive people who do not indulge in negativity and politics on each & everything. I only started using Instagram from march this year and since then I'm following only few positive people who don't comment on the politics of anything...they have stories of positivity,  struggle everything is real. This has tremendously changed my  attitude towards myself. Positivity is the key to successfully beat anxiety.

Always talk to the family about what you are feeling, family is the best support.

Do yoga & pranayam

Do yoga and pranayam continuously under proper guidance. Follow proper breathing techniques they help but pranayam and yoga should be learnt from a yoga practitioner.

● Bhastrika  pranayam

● Kapal-bhati prayanam

● Anulom-vilom pranayam

All three relax your mind. In the early morning when there is less pollution and more oxygen, when you do these pranayam, you breathe a good amount of oxygen into your lungs. Your mind, body relaxes for a better start in the morning. You can learn more from yoga practitioners.

Conclusion

You can overcome anxiety, if you handle it properly, everyone once in a life goes through it at some point in life but positivity helps you to overcome it. Keep a special forces attitude. What is that? I mean to say never give, this is how our special forces work. They never give up. Start working in a positive way.
Sky is the limit and there so much inside us, just search your innerself and move ahead in a positive way.
Beat the anxiety.
